Consume as much green vegetables as possible to achieve good health during pregnancy. Always keep in mind that you are not one but two. So eat not only for yourself but also for your baby. Never starve to achieve a sexy figure. In fact, during pregnancy do not let such thoughts to get into your mind. You can look equally sexy and glamorous in loose pregnancy clothes as well. During this stage of your life, you need more calories that are readily available in green leafy vegetable and fruits. Simply put, take a balanced diet, which includes right proportion of vital nutrients. Your from should be rich in vitamins, fats, minerals, carbohydrates and proteins. Apart from this, take one cup of yogurt every day and consume dry fruits daily. It definitely helps in achieving healthy pregnancy. Most importantly drink as much water as possible, since it is a natural hydrator. As a relevant piece of advice, take small meals after a short interval.

Although you should not strive when pregnant, make a sincere effort to not yield to your hunger fits. Eating everything blindly will only weaken your cause. Always choose nourishing and healthy food items. Eating oily food or other food items rich in cholesterol may result in extra weight. Having put on extra unnecessary weight, your condition will only deteriorate further. However, this does not mean that you do not eat at all. As mentioned above, keep taking small meals five or six times a day. Good pregnancy health can be achieved with the right attitude and approach. Take only nutritive food, since the mother to be and fetus both need continuous supply of energy. So, try to achieve a good metabolism rate to keep burning your extra calories. Eat fiber rich food, it keeps constipation at bay. However, take it in small quantities instead of eating entire lot in one go. Too much of fiber intake may make you bloated.

Do Not Lose Weight During This Time

Although it is advisable to maintain right weight, never employ wrong means to achieve the same. In fact, never think on those lines while pregnant. Weight can be reduced after delivery. As stated above, drinking water is the right step towards good health during pregnancy. Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water every day. If you do not like the plain taste of water, mix some drops of lemon juice. However, do not consume carbonated soda or other artificial drinks. Many times you eat when you are not actually hungry but thirsty. This may lead to unnecessary weight gain, so try to drink as much water as you can.

Do Not Take Artificial Supplements

Always follow your doctor's advice when it comes to taking artificial food supplements. Synthetic food items may be quite dangerous for your both your body and baby. However, there are some good artificial products that your doctor may advise. Consume only such products with prior approval of your physician.
